With more than 15 years of childcare experience and 20 years of performance experience, Niska Napoleon shines in whatever realm she chooses to give her all to. After successfully running "Rockstar Nanny Services" in Vancouver from 2012-2016, Niska decided to put her focus on reaching youth in Indigenous communities by launching the Rockstar Kids Program in 2016.

 

"Every summer when I go out on tour, I have to leave behind some of my favorite people not knowing when I will see them again. After spending a decade honing my craft, learning my skills as an artist and a nanny, I wanted to create a business which focuses on being my best self by doing things that make me the most happy. In order to achieve this goal, I needed to find clients who appreciate the types of qualities I have to offer and quit trying to fit the mold of a typical Vancouver nanny. This is why I developed "Rockstar Nanny Services" which will eventually include various after school programs, kid's camps and high doses of fun. My message truly is to always follow your dreams because they will lead you  to the right places."

I feel every child should be in an environment where they can be themselves, be supported, and nurtured to gain confidence and life skills. I'm very honest and believe in sharing your true self so you attract the right people to you. I choose quality over quantity which is why I can be selective about my schedule and my clients. I like to enjoy myself with the children just as much as I think they should enjoy themselves.

Most accurately, I've been described as "an adult playmate" because I get down on whatever level the child is at and have the ability to create a childlike sense of play and adventure creating "little bestie" relationships with all of my clients. Aside from providing basic learning skills, adapting to the routines of each individual family and maintaining friendships with all my little rock stars, I take pride in giving families an experience that they will have forever."
